Overview
After obtaining the MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees, Dr. Shivam Sachan completed his DM in Gastroenterology from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University ( BHU) in Varanasi. During his DM residency, he trained extensively in Luminal Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In addition to basic endoscopy and colonoscopy he has performed numerous therapeutic procedures such as Enteral stenting, stricture dilation, variceal and Piles banding , polypectomy, PEG and Emergency GI bleed management. He also trained extensively in advanced endoscopic techniques, including ERCP and he did his D.M Thesis in Role of EUS( Endoscopic ultrasound) in Acute Pancreatitis
