Dr. Alankar Gupta is a well trained Gastrointestinal surgeon with surgical experience of more than 10 yrs. He has received surgical training at various hospitals including – GSVM Medical College Kanpur, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, New Delhi and Dr.RML Institute of medical Sciences, Lucknow. Dr. Alankar has worked in field of HPB surgery and received fellowship in HPB surgery from Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Alankar has been actively performing various gastrointestinal surgeries. His are of expertise is advance laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic colorectal surgery, laparoscopic HPB surgery. He is also performing various complicated G.I cancer surgeries including major resection for liver, stomach, pancreas, spleen and small & large bowel. In the field of minimal access, he has been commonly performing difficult laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stone and laparoscopic hernia repair surgery. He has successfully performed many bariatric (weight reduction) surgery. Even in emergency cases of intestinal perforation and appendicular perforation, he has been able to perform laparoscopic surgery saving patient from large incision.
