Dr Mohd. Iqbal is a experienced and energetic neurosurgeon , he belongs to Lucknow and has done his primary education from La Martiniere College and St Paul’s college Lucknow .He completed his MBBS from Govt. Medical College (VIMS) Bellary, Karnataka and had done his MS(general surgery) from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College , Jabalpur. He was then selected for MCh neurosurgery with 1st rank in Delhi University all India Super specialty entrance examination . He completed his MCh neurosurgery from G.B Pant hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College ,New Delhi . He continued his further studies in SGPGI, Lucknow and did his Post Doctoral fellowship in Spine and Skull base surgery . He has good experience in minimal invasive spine and endoscopic skull base surgeries. He has also done his international fellowship in Neurointervention and Neuroncology from Fukushima Medical University, Japan . He is expert in Neurointervention diagnostic and therapeutic procedure as DSA , cerebral aneurysm coiling , embolization of AVM, Dural venous fistula and spinal vascular malformation ,he has good experience in dealing with low back pain , cervical pain, discogenic pain, disc prolapse ,headache , migraine, epilepsy , tumour of brain and spine and traumatic brain and spine injuries, congenital malformation of spine. He is interested in research to improve his treatment protocol and to remain updated in neurosurgical advances. He has several international & national research publications to his credit in various renowned journals. He attended international conference of AANS held in Chicago USA(2016) & has presented his research work there & got best paper award. He continues to attend both national & international conferences for upto date treatment protocols for various diseases.
