Dr.Himanshu, after earning his MBBS and MD Medicine degrees, pursued DM in Gastroenterology at the esteemed-All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna. Throughout his residency, he gained extensive expertise in Luminal Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Biliopancreatic diseases. Alongside mastering basic Endoscopy and Colonoscopy, he has performed a wide array of therapeutic procedures including EVL, Stricture dilation, Esophageal/ Antro-pyloro-duodenal/ Biliary and Colonic metal stenting, Endoscopic glue therapy, Foreign body removal, APC, NJ tube placement, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoidal sclerosing therapy, polypectomy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), and emergency management of gastrointestinal bleeding and ERCP. He has a special interest in GERD, disorders of gut brain interaction(DGBIs- Functional Dyspepsia, IBS), Inflammatory bowel disease, Celiac disease, SIBO, Chronic diarrhea/ Constipation, GI Motility disorders, Bilio pancreatic, liver diseases and Advanced Endoscopic Interventions, in particular ERCP.
