Dr. Anshuman Singh is the Vice Chairperson of Uro-Oncology at Chandan Cancer Institute, Lucknow, with specialised expertise in robotic surgeries for urological cancers. He completed his M.Ch. in Urology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, where he was awarded the Gold Medal by Manipal University for securing the highest marks in the exit examinations. He was also recognised as the Best Outgoing Urology Resident from the South Zone by the Urological Society of India and honoured with the ASU Pratheeksha Gold Medal. -From his residency itself, Dr. Singh was deeply engaged in Urological research, contributing to over 30 national and international publications. His academic excellence was recognised by the European Association of Urology (EAU), which awarded his study as the “Best of EAU” at its 2023 congress in Milan, Italy. He was also one of only four candidates globally selected for the prestigious European Urology International Resident Education Programme in Prague, Czech Republic.. -Dr. Singh pursued advanced training through a fellowship in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Medanta, Gurugram, and a Visiting Fellowship in Robotic Uro-Oncology at Fundació Puigvert, Barcelona, Spain, under world-renowned experts. He was further awarded the EUSP Scholarship by the EAU for outstanding clinical and academic potential. Certified by Intuitive (USA) and the Urological Society of India, he is a recognised surgeon on the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System for urological cancers.
